I’ve been in Lido de Jesolo for the past two weeks and its safe to say that this has probably been my favourite family vacation so far!
Lido is on the adriatic coast of Italy, about 2 hours from Venice and Verona which are stunning historical cities. We visited both on a tour and let me tell you, they were magical cities.
Venice was such a cute city, with historical buildings, and great architecture. It was so amazing seeing the water in between the old houses and the gondalas floating by. There is something so special about this city.

We also stopped in St Marks square and saw the Basillica. It was stunning! The artwork on the walls was made from gold and glass and was so detailed. The Church showcased Jesus’ crucifixtion, resurection and asension profoundly and beautifully. I am glad to have seen it. We also stopped at Verona which is obviously famous for “Romeo and Juliet.” Apparently, in Shakespheres writing, he didn’t actually mention the famous balcony which is featured in Verona, but it was in the movie, so of course it’s still noteworthy. This city was stunning and the atmosphere was incredible!!

And our last stop on our tour was Lake Garda. What a beautiful place that showcases God’s beauty so greatly! I fell in love with the lake and the boat tour. You could see the mountains in the back of the lake and I was in wonder at them. Mountains always remind me of God and that prayers can move mountains. God’s presence was definitey profound here.

I thank God greatly for this trip. He has revealed so much to me, and taught me a lot during my time here. I find that traveling really opens up your mind and gives you a new perspective on life.
I hope to travel all around the world to witness Gods beauty and learn as much as I can. Jesus moved around, so I will too!
Thanks for reading! X
