Well where do I even start?
Worship U 2016 was one of the best adventures I have ever been on. It’s so sad to leave it behind, but I will always have the memories to keep forever.
Being in Redding California for 2 weeks was absolutely amazing. It’s so incredibly beautiful out there. Being inland, it’s full of stunning lakes and mountains which I just had to go out and explore! I went to the Sundial bridge which is a famous landmark in Redding, and I also stopped at Whiskeytown Lake which was gorgeous!! It’s just so beautiful to look out at the nature that God created. The lake looked like a painting! Each detail of it was just so breathtaking and I’m so glad that I got to witness such beauty.
Worship U was just so great. I can’t sum up into words how amazing it was! I really feel like I have learnt so much as a follower of Christ, and also learnt a lot about Worship, and my heart for God. This trip has brought me closer to Jesus and I really feel like I have learnt a lot about my identity and that I am a daughter of God. How awesome is that? That we are sons and daughters of God!?!
One song that stood out to me as the “worship U theme song” was King of my heart by Sarah McMillan. This song is written to God and I just think it is so powerful! The words “You are good!” repeat and I love this so much. We sang this so many times, and probably sang that line for an hour haha 🙂 God is so good and this song really states that. 🙂
I just feel so blessed to have met so many amazing people at Worship U! Even having known them for 2 weeks, I feel like I have known them forever! i’m so glad that God created friendship because it’s just so great. 🙂 I miss everyone so much already! 😦
Overall, I am just so blessed to have gone on this trip and I thank God so much for it! I have learnt so much, and I am excited to put it into action, and just continuing to Worship God and loving him with all of my heart. He is good. 🙂
Hebrews 12:2–fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
This trip has reminded me to fix my eyes on Jesus because he is most important. He is the centre of my life and heart.
God bless you all! Thanks for reading 🙂
